The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The upper is made with at least 50% recycled materials, so you're getting a shoe that's made partly from recycled content.
- The spiked Traxion outsole gives you grip in multiple directions, but those spikes mean they're really designed for golf rather than casual walking.
- Waterproof construction keeps your feet dry, which matters if you're playing in damp or wet weather.
As of Sep 1, the adidas Men's Tech Response 3.0 Golf Shoes is a good price at $49 — versus a $50.65 typical price and a $35 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
Its price this year
A fair price — but not a real “sale.”
Sale check Amazon shows “30% off,” measured against a $70 “list price” it doesn't charge. Its usual price is $51 — real discount ≈ 3%.
The phantom Amazon has left this $70 “list price” untouched for 13 months — while the item actually sold for about $51. It's a fixed anchor, not a price it charges.
