The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The batting is made from a specific blend of cotton fibers (40% linters, 40% motes, 20% straight), which gives it consistent quality and a clean finish for professional-looking results.
- It's soft enough for comfort in cushions and furniture but structured enough to hold its shape in quilting and upholstery work.
- The material can be split or torn to fit different project sizes, so you're not locked into using the full width if you don't need it.
As of Sep 1, the AK TRADING CO. 27” Premium Cotton Upholstery Batting is a good price at $55.75 — versus a $56.75 typical price and a $26.89 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
