The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- It's genuinely waterproof to IPX7 level, so splashes and submersion won't kill it, which matters if you're actually using it outdoors.
- The battery lasts around 24 hours, so you won't need to charge it constantly during a weekend trip.
- At 12 watts, it's not particularly loud compared to larger speakers, so it works better for personal listening or small groups than filling a big space.
As of Aug 25, the Anker soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is a good price at $35.99 — versus a $38.84 typical price and a $33.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
