The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The charging case is the smallest Apple has made, and it charges via USB-C, Apple Watch charger, or any Qi wireless charger, which gives you flexibility if you already own compatible chargers.
- With active noise cancellation on, you get 4 hours per charge and 20 hours total with the case. Without ANC, that stretches to 30 hours total, so your actual battery life depends heavily on whether you use the noise cancellation feature.
- The AppleCare+ plan included here covers accidental damage and hardware issues for 2 years, but each repair incident costs $29, and you need to cancel within 30 days if you want a refund.
As of Sep 1, the Apple AirPods 4 Wireless Earbuds isn't at a good price yet at $178 — versus a $172.77 typical price and a $118 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
