The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The noise cancellation is stronger than the previous version, and you can adjust how much outside sound comes through depending on what you're doing, whether that's focusing on music or having a conversation.
- They include a live translation feature that can translate what someone is saying to you in real time, though this requires a newer iPhone and is still in beta.
- Battery lasts up to 20 hours on a single charge with all the audio features turned on, and they charge via USB-C like most modern Apple devices.
As of Sep 1, the Apple AirPods Max 2 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones is a good price at $449 — versus a $500.09 typical price and a $399 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
