The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The front camera is positioned in landscape orientation and includes Center Stage, which is useful if you do a lot of video calls or want the camera to follow you around during recording.
- Touch ID is in the top button rather than the screen, which is faster to unlock but means you can't use your fingerprint in other parts of the interface like you might on a phone.
- Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard are sold separately, so if you want to use this for drawing or typing, you'll need to budget for those accessories on top of the tablet itself.
As of Sep 1, the Apple iPad (10th Generation) is overpriced at $449 — versus a $414.48 typical price and a $242 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
