GOOD PRICE.
This is a 20-ounce steel claw hammer built as a single piece of forged steel, designed for general purpose work around the house or job site. It has an ergonomic grip that reduces vibration and a smooth face that won't leave marks on finished surfaces, making it useful for both rough work and detail jobs.

The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The smooth face means you can use it on trim and finished work without denting or marring the surface, which limits the need for multiple hammers.
- It's a one-piece steel construction, so there's no head that can loosen or separate from the handle over time.
- The vibration reduction grip helps reduce fatigue during extended use, though this is more noticeable on repetitive work than occasional tasks.
As of Sep 1, the CRAFTSMAN Hammer is a good price at $14.98 — versus a $20.21 typical price and a $13.97 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
