The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The slots are 1.5 inches wide, which handles bagels and thicker items, and the carriage lifts high so you can grab smaller pieces without burning your fingers.
- It's compact and lightweight at just 3.45 pounds, so it won't take up much counter real estate if space is tight.
- This is a manual toaster with a simple dial, not a digital display, so there's less to break but also less precision if you want exact toasting control.
As of Sep 1, the Cuisinart CPT-122BK 2-Slice Compact Plastic Toaster is overpriced at $39.95 — versus a $32.88 typical price and a $17.95 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
