The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The brushless motor is supposed to give you about 57% more runtime compared to older brushed versions, which matters if you're working on bigger projects.
- You'll need to buy the battery and charger separately, so factor that into your setup if you don't already have DEWALT 20V gear.
- The quick-change system means you can swap blades without tools, and the LED light helps you see what you're cutting in dim spots.
As of Sep 1, the DEWALT atomic 20V MAX* Oscillating Tool is overpriced at $119.75 — versus a $111.39 typical price and a $44 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
