GOOD PRICE.
This is a lightweight polyester batting in crib size (45 by 60 inches) that goes between fabric layers in quilts to add softness and structure. It's designed for baby quilts, lap quilts, and wall hangings, and works well for both hand and machine quilting.

The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The low loft and light weight make it easy to quilt through, and it won't shift or beard after washing since it's bonded polyester.
- You need to space your quilting lines only 2 to 4 inches apart, which is closer than some battings but helps keep everything stable.
- It sometimes arrives wrinkled from packaging, but you can usually fix this by laying it out or running it in the dryer on low heat with a damp cloth for a few minutes.
As of Sep 1, the Fairfield Poly-Fil Low-Loft Batting Crib 45" X 60" is a good price at $6.17 — versus a $9.38 typical price and a $3.50 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
