The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The interface has a dedicated guitar input that's designed to feel natural if you're used to plugging into an amp, plus it includes software from Native Instruments, Softube, and auto-tune access.
- The Dynamic Gain Halos feature shows you visually when your levels are set correctly, which takes the guesswork out of getting a clean recording.
- This is a single-channel interface, so you can only record one thing at a time, which is fine for solo recording but limits what you can do if you need to capture multiple sources simultaneously.
As of Sep 2, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio 4th Gen USB Audio is overpriced at $354.99 — versus a $313.22 typical price and a $249.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
