The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- These plugs are built to handle high compression situations where standard plugs might pre-ignite, but they do need a special high energy ignition system to work properly.
- They can foul up more easily in cold weather, so they're not the best choice if you're in a consistently cold climate.
- The trivalent metal plating and triple seals are designed to resist corrosion and prevent leakage over time.
As of Jul 29, the NGK BU8H Spark Plugs Non Resistor 6431 (6 Pack) is a good price at $36.63 — versus a $33.38 typical price and a $28.69 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
