The verdict
GoPro MAX
StyleMAX + Carrying Case
GOOD PRICE.
The GoPro MAX is a compact camera that works three ways: it shoots traditional GoPro-style video and photos, captures full 360-degree footage, or records panoramic photos without panning. It's built for people who want flexibility in how they document action, travel, or everyday moments, whether that's vlogging with a front-facing screen, live streaming, or capturing immersive content.

The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The stabilization uses 360 capture as a buffer, which means even in traditional mode you get smoother footage than standard action cameras because the camera can correct for movement in any direction.
- You get six microphones for 360 audio recording, so immersive footage actually sounds immersive instead of hollow or one-directional.
- The horizon leveling automatically keeps your shot level even if you're rolling or flipping, which takes work out of editing later.
As of Aug 29, the GoPro MAX is a good price at $429.99 — versus a $468.65 typical price and a $289 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
