The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The resin bonding keeps the fibers from shifting around during quilting, which means you don't have to quilt as densely as you might with unbonded batting. You can space your quilting lines 4 to 6 inches apart.
- This is a full 96-inch width, so it covers most quilt sizes without needing to piece batting together, which saves time on larger projects.
- It's washable and non-allergenic, so it holds up to repeated laundering and works for people with sensitivities.
As of Sep 1, the Hobbs Polyester 9oz 96" Wide Quilt Batting Roll is a good price at $145 — versus a $145 typical price and a $89.11 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
