The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The main compartment can fit either a laptop or a 3-liter hydration bladder, so you're choosing between those two uses rather than having both at once.
- The hip belt and sternum strap are built for longer hikes or commutes where you want the weight off your shoulders, not just casual daily use.
- JanSport backs these packs with a lifetime warranty on manufacturing defects, so if zippers or seams fail, they'll repair or replace it.
As of Sep 1, the JanSport Odyssey Laptop Backpack for 15” Computer is a good price at $84.98 — versus a $92.06 typical price and a $53.60 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
