The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The chair went through a 20-step inspection process and comes with a 3-year mechanical warranty plus 12 years of free service, so you're getting some protection even though it's open box.
- It's the discontinued version of the Aeron, which means you won't find this exact model new anymore, but the refurbished condition should be solid given the inspection process.
- Assembly is required, but the tools come in the box so you won't need to hunt down what you need to put it together.
As of Sep 1, the Open Box Herman Miller Aeron Fully Loaded is a good price at $650 — versus a $690.65 typical price and a $549.11 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
