The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- You get a second controller included, so you can play multiplayer games right out of the box without buying another one separately.
- As a refurbished unit, it comes with Amazon's replacement or refund guarantee if something doesn't work out, which gives you some protection beyond a typical used purchase.
- The disc drive means you can buy used physical games, borrow games from friends, or trade games in, which isn't possible with the all-digital PS5 model.
As of Aug 31, the Playstation 5 Disc Version PS5 Console is overpriced at $769.99 — versus a $646.69 typical price and a $519.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
