The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are the main draw here. They create resistance and vibration patterns that respond to what's happening in games, so you actually feel impacts and tension through the controller.
- It has a built-in microphone and 3.5mm headset jack, so you can chat online without needing a separate headset if you don't want one.
- The Chroma Pearl is a light, pearlescent color option. If you prefer the standard white or want a different color, Sony makes other versions.
As of Sep 1, the PlayStation DualSense™ Wireless Controller isn't at a good price yet at $79 — versus a $76.55 typical price and a $59 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
