The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- It lasts up to 24 hours on a single charge, which is genuinely long for a speaker this size, though actual playtime depends on volume and what you're playing.
- The speaker floats and has an IPX7 waterproof rating, so it can handle pool parties and rain, but it weighs 3.66 pounds, which is fairly heavy to carry around all day.
- You can adjust the sound through an app with a customizable EQ and control built-in RGB lights to match your mood, giving you some personalization beyond just turning it on and playing music.
As of Aug 25, the Soundcore Boom 2 by Anker is a good price at $99.99 — versus a $118 typical price and a $89.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
