The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- It can charge your phone when the battery runs low, which is genuinely useful on long trips away from outlets.
- The 24-hour playtime claim depends on volume level and what you're playing, so actual runtime will vary.
- At 3.66 pounds and over a foot long, it's not small or light, so portability is relative to what you're comparing it against.
As of Aug 25, the Soundcore Boom 2 by Anker is a good price at $99.99 — versus a $110.38 typical price and a $84.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
