The read
What's actually worth knowing.
- The textured grips on the triggers, bumpers, and back help with control during intense gaming, and the overall shape is built around how your hands naturally hold a controller.
- You get around 40 hours of battery life on standard AA batteries, though this drops significantly if you're using a headset or other accessories at the same time.
- The 3.5mm headphone jack lets you plug in a headset directly for voice chat, and there's a Share button for capturing screenshots and recordings.
As of Sep 1, the XBOX Wireless Gaming Controller is overpriced at $59.99 — versus a $53.47 typical price and a $38.99 12-month low, based on Amazon's own price history.
